Halestorm is a rock band from Pennsylvania (US) that signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records, a major recording label, on June 28, 2005. The group has been consistently active, writing and performing original music since the mid-1990’s and becoming increasingly successful. They have achieved international airplay, having been featured on the Lord Litter show in Germany. The band has been the featured artist, appearing on the cover of Pennsylvania Musician magazine three times (August 1999, March 2000, and February 2003).

The band toured nationally across the United States from January to March 2006 on the Winterfresh Sno-Core Tour with Seether, Shinedown, and Flyleaf. There were about 23 shows in that tour, and the band has performed about 200 times per year since 1997.





Next up is Smile Empty Soul.


Smile Empty Soul is a 3-piece alternative hard rock band formed while its members attended different Santa Clarita high schools: Sean Danielsen (guitar and vocals), Ryan Martin (bass), and Derek Gledhill (drums). For Anxiety, Derek Gledhill was replaced by Dominic Weir. Dominic was then replaced by Ryan’s friend Jake Kilmer. Later on, Mike Booth joined as second guitarist but split by mutual agreement during their 2007 tour.

They have released five albums to date:

Smile Empty Soul (Released: May 27, 2003)
Anxiety (Unreleased)
Vultures (Released: October 24, 2006)
B-Sides (Released January, 2007 - by Mrafia Records)
Consciousness (Released August 25, 2009 by F.O.F/EMI Records)

Their current record, titled Consciousness was released August 25th, 2009. They have released one single so far, entitled “Don’t Ever Leave”, and are currently touring with Saliva promoting their latest record. A tour to promote their record is also slated soon, with contests sponsored by Monster Energy Drink to win a concert at a fan’s house.





The Veer Union - Over Me[Performed at a high school]


The Veer Union was formed in late 2004 by vocalist Crispin and guitarist Eric. Originally from Port Alberni, BC, the two longtime friends surprisingly found themselves living as neighbors: “we knew each other previously because we had played in bands together. We were both living out of our rehearsal studios in downtown East Vancouver,” recalls Crispin.

At the time Crispin was the front man of Everything After, where creative differences led to his departure. Crispin was gaining attention as a songwriter with credits on Motley Crue’s drummer Tommy Lee’s solo CD Tommyland: The Ride. Eric, who had recently relocated back to Vancouver after a stint in Los Angeles with 40 Foot Echo (Hollywood Records), was working on projects of his own.

After writing for months with such a positive attitude, it was time to find band-mates who shared their mindset. While recording the first batch of “TVU” songs Eric and Crispin were introduced to Roots and Fid through a mutual friend. The four musicians became close friends in these studio sessions before they had even picked up instruments to jam with one another. Roots and Fid had played in a band together prior to this, and after numerous North American tours had decided it was time to do their own “veering” away from an unpleasant situation and join Crispin and Eric.





Last But Not Least Weezer


Weezer is an American alternative rock band. Formed in 1992, they have released seven full length albums, four EPs, and a DVD. Their latest album, Raditude, was released on November 3rd, 2009. They have sold over 7 million records in the United States to date.

One of there more melodic songs from the album "Overcome" which features their other hit song "Two Weeks".

These guys are pretty amazing musicians and the lead singer has shown a melodic side that is refreshing to hear in this screaming landscape of singers so props to these guys and buy there album if you like!.

Sevendust - Too Close To Hate
The boys from Atlanta Georgia did a acoustic concert a while back called "Southside Doublewide Acoustic" which featured some of there most popular songs amongst there fans and the media alike and here is a excerpt from that show.

Hulu Could Introduce Subscription Fees as Soon as Next Year

This is what everyone who loves internet tv has been talking about and blogging about.

According to a hulu exec they plan to start a pay service next year for there free quality tv shows, which has the internet community in an uproar it's almost as if we expected youtube to start some sort of pay service but hulu? who saw that coming?. All we can hope for is that Fancast the hulu alternative stays true to it's free format, Personally i can handle 1 15 second add every 15 minutes of a show as long as i get to watch on my own time.

Iphone Hurting AT&T Brand?

According to cnn.com AT&T has the worst ratings in customer satisfaction for the popular "Iphone"

"While a recent survey by the consulting firm CFI Group found that iPhone users are the most loyal smartphone users, with 90 percent saying they'd recommend the device to a friend, half of all iPhone owners surveyed said they would like to jump ship to another provider if given the chance."

Even Competing companies such as sprint have scored hire in customer satisfaction ratings leaving at&t in a low spot for smartphone users.

"AT&T has never fared great in customer satisfaction surveys," said Doug Helmreich, program director with CFI Group. "But they've never been last. Now AT&T is coming up last among smartphone users. The iPhone has been a cash cow for AT&T, but that cash comes at a cost in terms of overall satisfaction."

There have been widespread complaints of not being able to access the 3G network and constant dropped phone calls, To answer people complaints the company has to said to have made plans to plant nearly 2,000 cell towers to get more coverage for their users and also implement a 850mz upgrade for them.

All the talk and complaints of the Iphone still haven't hurt it's sells for the company and it is the most widely praised smartphone on the market over Verizon's Blackberry Storm.

So the future for at&t doesn't look grim because of having a low customer satisfaction rating.

New Video

I have made a new video with the windows live movie maker beta and it has turned out better then it ever could with corel video studio so don't wast your money on corel lol.




This next video is just amazing and something you never see in your local guitar shop. A 11 String Bass is being used to play the super mario theme song. This is just an amazing feat to do and everyone should look at this.

Been working around the clock looking for a new template for this and due to recent software issues i am putting contrast designs media on the backburner and also putting the iso fall website on hold until i find a stable setup.

A band from florida that was at one time one of the biggest metal rap acts is planning a comeback tour and album for this year and the next so keep an eye out for these amazing musicians, This is a cover of the popular song written by The Who with the original adaptation to the movie Gothika Starring Halle Berry.





The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony[Glastonbury 2008]
The Verve (originally Verve) were an English rock band formed in Wigan, Greater Manchester in 1990
he band's commercial breakthrough was the 1997 album Urban Hymns and its single "Bitter Sweet Symphony", which became a massive worldwide hit.

Video Creation

Recently i got a copy of Corel Video Studio 12 and decided to make a video with some game footage i had from the game Fallout 3 and this is the end product, It's a little bad in some spots but it's pieced together in a nice way so enjoy!

Sevendust is a band from Atlanta, GA.

The video is made by someone who aqquired photos from iraq to show what is truly happening there and to put it with this song is such a powerful statement to see what man has done to themselves and what greed and corruption make.

Mind you the photos in the video are quite powerful and not for the faint at heart, so please watch with caution.



About heartache and not getting over it i'm sure you all have been there once. But anyways its a good song to listen to.



And the mighty return of southern rock! Lynyrd Skynyrd come back with Gods and Guns under the Roadrunner Records label creating a modernized sound to there already perfect view of southern rock and it all meshes well with this video and how things in the world are today. A good motivational song to make anyone got out of their seat and headbang to the sound of these legendary musicians.



New Southern Metal band out of Edmonton,Kentucky Black stone cherry has been in the top of the billboard rock charts a few times have had the hits of  "Lonely Train" and "Shooting Star" everyone should check these guys out and if you like support them.

Shaggy Arrested At Red Lobster

LONGMONT - The FBI says the bank robber known as the "Shaggy Bandit" has been caught, ending a spree of robberies that spanned four states at 17 banks.

According to the FBI, authorities pulled him over in Longmont after he was spotted inside the FirsTier Bank on Broadway in Boulder around 1:45 p.m.

A bank employee saw the man walk in, look around and then leave. The employee immediately called police, suspecting he might be the Shaggy Bandit. Investigators called the robber the Shaggy Bandit because he looks like "Shaggy" from "Scooby-Doo."

This guy has robbed 17 banks and it took someone to make a connection to him and a cartoon character? strange how justice works lol.

Sgnum A.D - Music For Morphine [2009]

In 2007, the boys entered the studio to record the debut album with producer Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Creed, Framing Hanley, etc… ) Two weeks later, the band emerged from the studio with what can only be described as a hook-laden, hard hitting, unforgetable eleven track debut album. The album immediately caught the attention of music industry power house Jeff Hanson (Creed, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Paramore) Hanson flew the band down on the next flight to Florida and offered them a record deal with his label, Silent Majority Group (ILG/Warner Bros.)

 

These guys sound really great and have a brett hestla sound to them, and all the hard rock fans know that you can't go wrong with brett hestla backing your band. So good luck to these guys and everyone should pick up there cd. "Music For Morphine"

According to msnbc.com a 2 year old cat named "Oreo" has earned a high school diploma from a diploma mill website.Kelvin Collins, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Central Georgia and Oreo's rescuer, encouraged Oreo to seek her "education," by taking part in the BBB's ongoing investigation of online diploma mills.

It's amazing that even a cat has to overcome the expectations of everyone and rise to the ocasion gaining their spot in the world with a diploma.

So here is something interesting according to the billboard charts pop act "Black Eyed Peas" made music history with their song "I Gotta Feeling". It has topped the mainstream charts for over 20 weeks now making it the biggest song in the past 10 years i would think and according to bbc "Boom Boom Pow" was close in second place with 8 weeks. So congrats to the black eyed peas for making a moment in music history such as this and it is good to see them still together and making music.
